Have you heard of the Quietest Pencil Sharpener? It isn't electric and is wonderful! It costs around 20.00 and it will be worth your money, I think!

Hope that helps! kellybrown28021@gmail.com
I have an X-Acto pencil sharpener. Office Max offers a one year warranty for $5 (I think). By the end of the year, I normally trade in my sharpener for a new one and get the warranty again.

I LOVE the pencil sharpeners I purchased from Troy through classroom friendly supplies at http://www.classroomfriendlysupplies.com/
ReplyDeleteThese pencil sharpeners are great for a first grade classroom. I have one at every table. They can easily be cleaned out if lead breaks in the gears. I've had my sharpeners now for almost 2 years with no breakage.
Try one and see what you think ~
